Craving a quick, cozy and easy dinner? Our family loves spaghetti and meatballs, and it’s a staple on our weekly dinner menu! With tender meatballs and a rich marinara sauce, this recipe will satisfy your cravings in no time.
In a mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients for the meatballs. Mix until just combined, then shape the mixture into 1- to 1.5-inch meatballs.
To cook the meatballs: Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add a drizzle of oil. Once hot, add the meatballs, cooking for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally until they are browned on the outside and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 160°F / 70°C). After cooking, transfer the meatballs to a paper towel to remove excess oil.
Alternatively, you can broil the meatballs for 8-10 minutes, turning halfway through, until they are browned on the outside and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 160°F / 70°C).
To cook the spaghetti: Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
To assemble: Toss the cooked meatballs with your favorite marinara sauce and let them simmer for a couple of minutes. Plate the spaghetti, top with the meatballs and sauce, and sprinkle with additional Parmesan and fresh herbs if desired.
